All returning students and incoming freshmen are invited to try out for the
2019 Frassat Catholic Volleyball Teams on:Thursday AND Friday, August 1st AND 2nd from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
(All participants should attend both days.)
All team placements will be announced on:
Friday, August 2nd @ 5:00pm
Scrimmages for all teams are scheduled on:
Saturday, August 3rd (time TBA)
All teams will begin practicing on:
Monday, August 5th @ 3:30pm
The first game for all teams is scheduled on:
Tuesday, August 6th at 4:00pm, 5:00pm, and 6:00pm @ Frassati Catholic

Volleyball Team Information
Frassati Catholic offers three volleyball teams, each offering different experiences:
Varsity: most experienced players, playing time not guaranteed or equal among all players
- Participates in three tournaments per season
- Plays 10 preseason games and 16 district games
- Advances to playoffs - Competes for state title
JV Blue: experienced players, playing time in every game, may not be equal among all players
- Participates in two tournaments per season
- Plays 12 district games
- Prepares for varsity competition
JV Gray: less experienced or beginner players, as much playing time in each game as possible
- Participates in one tournament per season
- Plays 8 district games
- Continues developing skills
