The Frassati Catholic Theater Department provides ample opportunities for students to develop the same strong love for the theater as our patron, Bl. Pier Giorgio.
Pope Benedict XVI said, “The relationship between truth and beauty is inseparable and therefore we need beauty.” Students involved in the Frassati Catholic Theater Department learn first-hand the meaning of beauty. The main-stage productions and the works studied in classes are all examples of the beauty and truth that can and should be present in the theater. This supports our school’s mission of “building a culture that embodies the truth about the human person who is destined to share in God’s own divine life.
Curricularly, students have the option of taking courses that build both onstage and offstage skills.
