Here is the second episode of the Frassati Catholic Remote Learning Broadcasts. In this week's edition, we have more tips for working from home, news on local advisories, and a very special check in with our Frassati Catholic Librarian, Mrs. Mullee. Here's your broadcast for week three of remote learning.
Today is the third day of the Novena in honor of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, a Novena which will continue through Blessed Pier Giorgio's birthday, April 6. This Novena is a special opportunity to ask for the intercession of Blessed Pier Giorgio as we navigate the coronavirus situation and its effects on our community. Today we have a very important update about the extension of our campus closure.
Today would have been the day for our Junior Class Pin Mass, an important milestone for the Class of 2021 as they toward their senior year. Even though we are unable to be together for this celebration, they are still very much in our thoughts and prayers. Although we find ourselves in unusual circumstances, our juniors are still very much on the path to being rising seniors. Please join us in lifting up the Class of 2021 in prayer today.
Blessings on this Solemnity of the Annunciation! The Feast day today reminds us in a profound way that we can trust God and we can trust in His plan. Our Lady shows us how to say yes to God's will even when we do not know what the outcome will be. Let us follow her example and surrender in a radical way to His will and His plan, especially in the days and weeks to come.

As we begin this second week of remote learning we wanted to express gratitude for the many ways our community has gone above and beyond the call of duty to take on the challenges before us and keep moving forward with as much normalcy as possible. We want to encourage students to communicate with their teachers so they can continue to provide necessary materials and information.
As we provide today's update, we want to emphasize that the wellbeing of our students and families remains one of our highest priorities. Our guidance counselor, Mrs. Tracey Bonini, has provided some important resources for the emotional and psychological wellbeing of our community. Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Bonini if you need any support in this area.
It is Day 3 of Frassati Online and we want to thank everyone for their patience and flexibility as we work to settle into a new teaching and learning routine. We are hopeful that our continuity of instruction provides an element of stability for our students in this evolving cultural climate. In keeping with our commitment to regular community updates, here is the latest from Frassati Catholic.
Frassati Catholic will extend our campus closure through April 10. The administrative team worked diligently to make a decision in the best interest of the health and safety of our community, and while all extracurriculars will be canceled through April 10, remote learning will continue during this time, and our faculty and staff will be available by phone or email while working remotely.
We have important updates to share, but wanted to begin by thanking our community for their patience and understanding as we move into uncharted territory. While this is a unique situation, the efficient planning by our faculty and staff along with flexibility from our students and families has made all the difference and speaks to the resilience of the Frassati Catholic community.
In support of our community and the efforts of health professionals working to contain the spread of coronavirus, Frassati Catholic will move to remote learning the week of March 16-20. During that time, all extracurricular activities will be canceled and the campus will be closed. Frassati Catholic has maintained email communications keeping families apprised of health updates, information on remote learning, online resources from the CDC and other health organizations, and will continue regular updates. Click through to see the updates as of Friday, March 13.
