The Frassati Catholic Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, our Spanish Honor Society, held a donation drive this week to help those who have been affected by Hurricane Eta in Central America. They collected items that included gently used clothing, baby items, non perishable food items, masks, and hand sanitizer. We're so proud of our Falcons to take the initiative to help others in need! Thank you to all those who donated.
For the second year in a row, and fourth time in five years, the Frassati Falcons Volleyball team won the TAPPS Area Championship. Frassati Catholic traveled to Austin to take on the St. Michael's Academy Crusaders, one of the firecest competitors in TAPPS 5A, and won in five thrilling sets. Before the Area Championship, St. Michael's had won seven games straight with three set sweeps. It took some gutsy play by the Falcons to secure the win, including exceptional defensive play and their cool-under-pressure execution.
The University of St. Thomas continues to expand Dual-Enrollment and Dual-Credit offerings and recently highlighted their Dual-Credit course, PHIL 1311 Philosophy of the Human Person, taught at Frassati Catholic High School. The unique collaboration between the University of St. Thomas and Frassati Catholic marks a new level of course offering, and adds to the strength of academics offered at Frassati Catholic.
