Frassati Catholic High School vocalists competed at the Regional Solo and Ensemble event on Friday, Feb. 22 at Willow Meadows Church in Houston. The annual competition included entries for small ensembles and soloists from around the greater Houston region. Frassati Catholic was represented by four vocal soloists and the Advanced Choir, the first ensemble entry for the school. All four singers as well as the Advanced Choir earned superior ratings, the highest distinction awarded at the competition.
Frassati Catholic High School’s swim team competed at the TAPPS Division II State Championships hosted at the Mansfield ISD Natatorium, Thursday, Feb. 7. After a tremendous showing at the East Regional Championship Meet, Frassati Catholic swimming made their mark at State where the Girls team finished third overall. Frassati Catholic brought home medals in five events during the championship meet.
This January, the Frassati Catholic High School community embarked on two pilgrimages, providing formative opportunities. Pilgrimages hold a central role in the faith life of all Catholics, serving as a journey with a purpose; a journey to honor God. In both journeys this January, the Frassati Catholic community was represented, not only physically, but also in the prayers, intentions and petitions of those who participated.
