From November 21-23, 2019, Frassati Catholic delighted audiences with our fourth annual musical, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This endearing and enchanting musical is a perennial favorite for children and adults, and showcased the amazing talents of our student body.
Each week we take a little time to highlight one outstanding member of our faculty/staff. In the fourth week of our Spotlight series, we'll visit with Mrs. Katie Hoff, our Assistant Athletic Director and Head Volleyball Coach. Mrs. Hoff began at Frassati Catholic in 2014 and just this fall, coached one of the most dominant and successful volleyball teams in our school history.
Six Frassati Catholic High School vocalists have been selected for the Texas Private School Music Educators (TPSMEA) All-State Choir. These talented vocalists will be participating in the TPSMEA All-State clinic and concert in January 2020.
During the Inaugural Blue and Gray Gala, the Frassati Catholic alumni shared a message with those in attendance. Members from the classes of 2017, 2018, and 2019 spoke about their transition to college and the impact of their Frassati Catholic education and faith formation.
On Wednesday, November 13, Frassati Catholic senior Aislynn Shore signed her letter of intent to play volleyball for Texas A&M University-Commerce beginning in the 2020-2021 season. This season Shore served as the Frassati Catholic team captain, and she helped lead her team to the District and Area Championships.
Following a strong performance at the Youth and Government Houston and Austin Regional Conference on November 9, the Frassati Catholic Government and Debate Club is moving on to the State Conference in January 2020. Conference highlights included Frassati Catholic students submitting the top three policy proposals based on points, and four of our students being recognized as Top-Delegates at Regionals.
