Mia Vassilakis '19 has been named a 2018-2019 National Hispanic Scholar as part of the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP). Vassilakis is one of more than 5,000 academically outstanding students from over 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT to receive this recognition.
Sister John Paul, O.P., principal of Frassati Catholic High School, announced that Ben McKeig ’19 has been named a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this senior.

Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this new Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action.
