Mia Vassilakis '19 has been named a 2018-2019 National Hispanic Scholar as part of the College Board’s National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP). Vassilakis is one of more than 5,000 academically outstanding students from over 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who take the PSAT/NMSQT to receive this recognition.

Sister John Paul, O.P., principal of Frassati Catholic High School, announced that Ben McKeig ’19 has been named  a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, will be presented by the principal to this senior.

Tickets are now on sale for Frassati Catholic's production of Newsies. Based on the real-life Newsboy Strike of 1899, this new Disney musical tells the story of Jack Kelly, a rebellious newsboy who dreams of a life as an artist away from the big city. After publishing giant Joseph Pulitzer raises newspaper prices at the newsboys' expense, Kelly and his fellow newsies take action.
