Frassati Catholic High School’s golf teams returned to Glen Rose, TX for the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) 3A State Championship tournament April 23-24. Sophomore Anna Claire Fincher defended her 2017 gold medal, shooting par on both days of the tournament to bring home the state champion title. Senior Hunter Thomas won the silver medal at the tournament in the boys’ division.
Frassati Catholic High School’s Model United Nations team attended the Texas Model UN Assembly in Dallas, TX April 13-15. The YMCA Texas Model UN is hosted by the Dallas YMCA and invites participants from around the state to simulate a General Assembly of the United Nations. Frassati Catholic High School sent 13 students to participate as officers and delegates for the 2018 conference.
Two Frassati Catholic students competed for the first time in the 54th Texas French Symposium on March 23-24 at The Woodlands High School. Luis Esparza '20 and Juan Pablo Esparza '20 represented Frassati Catholic High School as students in level two and level three.
On April 2, the boys and girls golf teams both won the TAPPS 3A District Championship, played at Pebble Creek Country Club in College Station, TX. The boys and girls will head to the State Tournament for the second consecutive year.
