The Frassati Catholic Class of 2025 has been named one of the Top 20 Schools in theClassic Learning Test’s 2020-2021 National School Rankings. This award recognizes the Class of 2025 for collectively receiving one of the highest median scores in the nation on the CLT8.
In May of 2021, our freshmen took the CLT 8,a nation-wide assessment alternative to the SAT and ACT. Based on their outstanding performance, they were ranked No. 12, and became one of only three schools in Texas to reach the top-25.
The CLT8 is a diagnostic or benchmark assessment offered by the Classic Learning Test and designed for 7th and 8th graders. Evaluating English, math, and critical reasoning skills, it provides a comprehensive measure of achievement and aptitude and engages students with classical texts from the most influential authors across time.
Since its inception in 2016, Classic Learning Test has offered assessments steeped in more intellectually rich and rigorous content than other standardized tests. Out of the hundreds of schools that take the CLT8 every year, Frassati Catholic is thrilled to recognize the class of 2025 with this distinguished recognition and celebrate this remarkable achievement.
