Summit Awards Ceremony recognizes student achievements

The Frassati Catholic school community gathered on Wednesday, May 10 for its end-of-year “Verso l’alto” Summit Awards Ceremony. Students were recognized for achievements in academics, athletics, fine arts, leadership, and service over the course of the 2016-17 Academic Year. In a particular way, the ceremony also highlighted the accomplishments of the senior class, who will be the first to graduate on May 19.

"I am proud of our students who have taken seriously their role to found this high school. They have taken on extra responsibilities, supported new programs, initiated a variety of activites and followed them through to their completion," said Principal Sister John Paul, O.P.

The mission and vision of Frassati Catholic High School is embodied in the school's patron, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. The characteristics of his life serve as a model for the entire community. Therefore, the awards seek to recognize those students who have embraced these characteristics and made them their own.

Department Book Awards
Each academic department gives a Book Award to a senior who has consistenly shown exceptional interest and appreciation for the subject matter of the department.
