Six Frassati Catholic High School vocalists have been selected for the Texas Private School Music Educators (TPSMEA) All-State Choir. These talented vocalists will be participating in the TPSMEA All-State clinic and concert in January 2020.
Megan Abib, Mary Coleman, Luis Esparza, Sara Page, Genevieve Roehl, and Katie Spartz were evaluated and selected for the TPSMEA All-State Choir based on their recorded audition submissions. From January 23-25, 2020, these students will work with Dr. Pamela Elrod Huffman, the conductor and clinician for the 2019-2020 All-State Choir. Dr. Huffman serves as the director of choral activities at SMU's Meadows School of the Arts.
TPSMEA is an organization of over 200 private school educators that promotes music education and competition. Students submitted CD recordings to TPSMEA which were anonymously judged at the regional competition. Congratulations to all our outstanding vocalists!
