The Frassati Cross Country team opened their season at the Incarnate Word Invitational in Houston on a hot and humid Saturday morning. In both the girls and boys varsity races, siblings lead the way.
Ashlyn Miller took home a gold medal by easily winning the girls 3200 meter race by a margin of 33 seconds over the next closest competitor. Breelyn Miller was the next Frassati harrier over the finish line earning a medal for her 15th place finish and a personal best time of 14:11. There were 58 competitors in the girls race.
In the boys race, that included 84 runners, Thomas Langley finished in 19th place and was followed by his brother Andrew in 27th place. Andrew achieved a personal best time of 11:47 for his efforts.
The Cross Country team will compete next Saturday at the Woodlands Christian Academy in The Woodlands. Come on out and support your Falcons!
