Golfers medal at State Tournament

Freshmen Sophia Briceno and Hunter Thomas both medaled at the TAPPS State Golf Tournament April 27-28 at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco, TX. Thomas finished in a tie for third place among the boys, shooting a 77 in the first round and a 43 in a rain-shortened second round. Briceno finished in fourth place among the girls with an 85 and a 47.
