The Falcons Cross Country team finished in third place at the Faith West Hills Race on Oct. 10 at Faith West Academy, posting its fastest 5K times of the season.
“All the hard work is paying off,” said Coach, Ralph Maddalena. “Everyone on the team ran his fastest 5K time of the season and contributed to our third place finish among the 16 teams scoring in the Varsity boys race.”
Sophomore Alex De la Maza finished in fourth place overall with a time of 17:40. Freshman Nathan Hardham also finished in the top ten with a time of 18:10. Sophomores Joseph Almond and Cameron Gill also posted strong times of 19:38 and 19:41. There were 133 finishers in the Varsity boys race.
Next up for the Cross Country team is the St. John’s Maverick Ramble on Saturday, Oct. 17 at TC Jester Park in Houston, TX.
