Team Updates

---

11/18 - The Varsity team hustled hard, despite the absence of a number of our Varsity starters, in a challenging match against St. Pius. Great job to  Alyssa Lopez (#13), who stood in as goal keeper for the team! 

11/15 - The  JV team had a competitive game on Friday vs HCYA with contributions from everyone! Great job by our goalies, Marianna Munguia (#9) & Elizabeth Abib (#19)!

11/12 - Our Varsity lost a hard game against a 6A school, but our team improved as the game went on. Props to the defense for stepping up to the plate to make adjustments in the second half - we were able to better possess the ball and have more offensive opportunities.

11/11 - Our Varsity team secured a 3-1 district win over Fort Bend Christian! Goal 1 was scored by Lucy Simon (#21) assisted by Ashlyn Miller (#14) with a pass. Goal 2 was scored by Vanessa Munguia (#27) off of an opponent's goal kick. Goal 3 was scored by Ashlyn Miller (#14) off of an aerial cross by Ava Roberts (#15). They played a great game and fought hard in cold weather. The win was for Annie Abrams (# 12)!

11/11 - Our JV team had their first game in freezing weather! Sending out big kudos to Elizabeth Abib (#19) and Karissa Erazo (#20), for stepping up and trying goalie! Marianna Munguia (#9) was the defensive player of the game, and Avery Kemp (#1) was the offensive player of the game!

11/4 - Our Varsity girls team fought a good fight, but came up short of a victory against Concordia.
