The Principles of Ethics Course for Adults

We are excited to once again offer adults the opportunity to experience Principles of Ethics, the second course in the Ethics & Culture curriculum, taught by Sister Beatrice.
 

Course Description

This course is based on reasoning derived from experience, & studies the voluntary human acts which lead to true human flourishing.

Saint Thomas Aquinas serves as a guide for our investigation of

• the purpose of human life,
• the nature of human action,
• the determination of good and evil acts,
• and the role of moral law, conscience, & virtue in achieving genuine human fulfillment.

Join us as we learn principles that guide moral choices in family life & friendship, health care & politics, work & leisure.
