Frassati Catholic High School is proud to announce that Andres Cruz Maldonado, Nicolas Pena, and Izabella Vallejo have been named 2019-2020 National Hispanic Scholars. They were among the top 5,000 selected from over 250,000 qualifying students who took the PSAT in their junior year.
To qualify, students must be at least one-quarter Hispanic/Latino; achieve the minimum required PSAT Selection Index score during junior year; and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher by the middle of their junior year. The National Hispanic Recognition Program (NHRP) was initiated in 1983, by the College Board, to identify outstanding Hispanic high school students and to share information about these academically well-prepared students with subscribing colleges and universities.
Please join us in congratulating these three students on this prestigious accomplishment.
