The Frassati Catholic Tennis team won the school’s first Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) District Championship on Wednesday, March 30.
The team will send seven athletes to the State Championships in Waco, TX, held April 12-13. Jonnathan Snaider '19 finished first in the Boys Singles and John Wittmer '18 finished third. Two Falcons teams faced off in the final of the Boys Doubles, with the team of John Dunlap '17 and Andres Moreno '18 taking first and Brian Carroll '19 and Robert Rice '17 as runners-up. Maria Archundia '17 finished third in the Girls Singles. Kyler Rippert ’18 will be a first alternate for the Girls Singles for the State Championships.
