The Frassati Catholic Golf team competed at the Faith West Academy Invitational hosted at the Willow Fork Country Club in Katy, Monday, Feb. 25. The Faith West Academy Invitational was the first event of the season for the Frassati Catholic Golf team. Propelled by some stellar individual play, the Girls team took home second place overall and the Boys team finished third overall.
Highlights include fantastic performances from Anna Claire Fincher, earning first place while shooting par on the day, Ellie Fincher, with a second place finish shooting plus-four, and Ethan Long, finishing third place on a plus-four performance.
“Golf is growing quickly here at Frassati Catholic” says Assistant Athletic Director, Katie Hoff. “We’ve nearly doubled the size of our Boys team since last year and the Girls team has some new additions as well. With the influx of new talent and strong returning players to lead the team, this is shaping up to be an exciting season.”
The Boys and Girls teams look to take the same strong play to the Fort Bend Christian Invitational on March 25 hosted at Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club in Richmond, TX.
