The Falcon’s cross country team competed in 2 separate meets on Saturday morning and continued to turn in some exceptional performances.
At the Nike South Invitational in The Woodlands, Ashlyn Miller took home an award for her 5th place finish over a field of 256 competitors. In the same event, Annie Perry also ran a strong race placing 54th. In the boys race, Thomas Langley finished 77th out of 312 runners. The Nike South meet included some of the best runners in the state of Texas.
Meanwhile, at the Faith West Hills Cross Country Meet in Katy, Breelyn Miller was running her personal best 2 mile time of 13:37 and capturing a medal for her 11th place finish. Andrew Langley was the top boys performer medalling in 18th place.
The Falcon harriers will next compete on Saturday at the Lions Cross Country Invitational in Huntsville.
