National Spanish Exam Honors 57 Frassati Catholic High School Students
For the first time this April, Frassati Catholic High School’s Spanish students competed in the National Spanish Exam with over 150,000 other students from around the country. The exam measures proficiency in students divided in groups based on both the course they are currently taking, and the degree of experience they have with Spanish (only in the classroom, or experience with Spanish outside of school). Students are ranked and receive awards based on their performance relative to the performance of other students taking the exam. Frassati Catholic had eighty students who took the test, and twenty-six received medals and thirty-two received an honorable mention.
