John Cooper Meet

At the John Cooper Cross Country meet last Saturday, the Frassati girls team, led by a triumvirate of top 15 finishers took home the third place team title. Ashlyn Miller led the way in 4th place and was followed by Annie Perry in 7th and Breelyn Miller in 15th. Mary Maggio and Anna Turner also contributed to the team’s best finish of the season. There were 58 competitors among 16 schools represented in the race.

In the boys race Thomas Langley with, a strong finish, captured 3rd place in a field of 60 runners. Thomas had a personal best time of 11:00 minutes for the 3200 meter event. Andrew Langley was the second Falcon over the finish line in 38th place, and Collin Dufrene and Paul Eisterhold ran their personal best times for the distance.

The Falcons will compete again next Saturday morning in the Rosehill Cross Country Challenge at Spring Creek Park in Tomball.
