The second ever Frassati Catholic Homecoming was an amazing event! We had a fun Mums and Garters competition among the students, won our Football game against the Warriors of Pasadena First Baptist with a touchdown as the clock ran down, welcomed home alumni from our first three graduating classes, and came together for an incredible Homecoming Dance.
The Mums and Garters kicked off our Homecoming 2019 festivities. Many of our students went all out in this friendly competition with points in the House System on the line. There were winners for each grade level, and overall best-in-show. Freshmen Ricky Skinner and Ren Magdoleno won top prize, sophomores Elizabeth Schramm and Grayson Dailey took home the honors, juniors Mia Natoli and Danny Benitez topped the pack, and seniors Aislynn Shore and Kailer Amador came in first. Overall best-in-show was awarded to senior Kailey Doiron and junior Giovanni Jabbour.
The mid-day Mums and Garters contest was followed up with pregame festivities including our faculty/staff flag football game, car decorating contest, and team sendoff. The football team brought home a big 26-20 win over Pasadena First Baptist with the go-ahead touchdown as the game clock expired. We were thrilled to have members from all three graduating classes in attendance.
On Saturday, students were back on campus for the Homecoming Dance. Everyone was dressed to the nines, and it was a fantastic end to our second Homecoming weekend. Thanks to all our students, faculty, staff, and alumni for making this such a special event.
