Many agencies are now posting specific things that they need right now to assist those who were affected by Hurricane Harvey. This is an opportunity for the Frassati Catholic community to give help in concrete ways.
So this week, we will be collecting items for the agencies below.
Please drop off donation items in the Assembly Hall in the designated bins this week. We'll deliver them Friday afternoon.
Then next week, we'll assess the needs that are out there, and try to do what we can.
Casa Juan Diego
We will be collecting shoes. Right now, they need new shoes for men and women whose shoes have been ruined in the floods. For women, the shoes should be flat shoes (not high heels) and for men, practical shoes or work boots.
Gallery Furniture
We will be collecting mops, bleach, and sponges. We want to join efforts with our friend Mattress Mack at Gallery Furniture, whose furniture store is also serving as a distribution center for those in need.
Catholic Charities
We will be collecting school supplies and backpacks. The smallest donation is appreciated.
If we all do something as a school community, who knows what it will add up to?
