Capital Campaign
A FOUNDATION FOR THE FUTURE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
Funded by the A Foundation for the Future Capital Campaign, Frassati Catholic High School has raised over $9.9 million in cash and pledges.
The goal of the entire project is to build a high school campus for up to 800 students over the next several years. The estimated cost for the entire project is $72 million. Construction on the first academic building is underway.
In 2009, 63 acres of land on Spring Stuebner Road, 3 miles west of I-45 was purchased by the Board of Directors with money raised in the Land Rush Campaign. The A Foundation for the Future Capital Campaign was launched in October 2010 with a goal of $10 million to complete Phase 1A of the campus.
Phase 1A includes a 21,580 square foot academic building which will house 12 classrooms (some of which will be used for a chapel, library, an assembly room and administrative offices initially), 2 science labs with prep rooms, and 2 leveled playing fields. This building can serve up to 130 students.
Phase 1B includes a second academic building, a gymnasium and an athletic field. The goal for this phase of the Campaign is $15 million and construction is slated to begin in 2014.
THE FOUNDATION OF OUR SUCCESS
Several hundred individual donors; many corporations, foundations and organizations; and a number of the parishes within our region have helped to lay the groundwork of success for this legacy to our youth.
Special thanks to the parishes where campaigns for Frassati Catholic have already taken place:
St. Edward, Spring
St. Anthony of Padua, The Woodlands
Sacred Heart, Conroe
Christ the Good Shepherd, Spring
St. James the Apostle, Spring
Sts. Simon and Jude, The Woodlands
It is primarily the families of the fifteen parishes and seven Catholic elementary schools within our region that Frassati Catholic will serve; therefore, much gratitude goes out to the pastors and parishioners who have helped raise the funds needed to begin construction of the first academic building.
YOUR GIFT
The Foundation for the Future Capital Campaign was born from prayer, careful study, planning and consultation. Your support ensures that we can achieve our goal of funding and completing the first phase of a multi-phase building plan. The first phase consists of land development; an academic building that houses classrooms, temporary administrative offices, a temporary chapel, a temporary library, and an assembly room.
Frassati Catholic High School will provide:
-
A Catholic preparatory curriculum rooted in the Catholic faith that prepares students for success in college and beyond;
-
A Catholic environment open to students of all faiths, encouraging each student to put their faith into action through a life of service;
-
A safe, positive learning atmosphere conducive to the social and academic success of all students;
-
A program of athletics and extra-curricular activities that promote leadership, discipline, and virtue;
-
A technology program appropriate for today’s global society; and
-
A fine arts department that provides opportunities for creative expression and an appreciation of the arts.
