January 27, 2017 Donuts with the Domincans. Parents, students, faculty, and staff gathered before school to celebrate the 800th anniversary of Dominicans preaching the Gospel. At a table adorned with red and black balloons (the colors of the order), donuts and coffee were served by the Hospitality Committee.

November 2, 2016 General Meeting. The first Family Association general meeting since electing officers and appointing committee chairs was held in the assembly room.
Executive Committee members and committee chairs introduced themselves and gave reports. President Tricia Heinzler also gave updates on general school announcments.
The next Frassati Family Association meeting is an Executive Committee meeting on November 30 at 5:30PM in the academic building. All members are welcome to attend.
Set Builds. The first set build days for the school's debut musical took place on Saturday, October 15th and 22nd.
Parents, students, and the Drs. Medina built and painted sets, made platforms, and constructed pipe and drape. The Fine Arts Committee is looking forward to future build dates before the musical production November 17th and 18th.
Praying as a Family Workshop. On Saturday, October 1st, Sister Dominica led the Praying as a Family Workshop for Frassati Catholic parents. The day was filled with practical tips for enhancing family prayer life.
The corresponding book, A Short Guide to Praying as a Family by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia Congregation, is available at the front office and online in both English and Spanish.
The Human Person Course. Sister Anna Laura began teaching a weekly The Human Person course for parents in September. The course follows the freshman Human Person class.
Topics include: the union of body and soul, the powers of the rational soul and its immortality, human emotions and temperaments, the complementarity of the sexes, and the theology of the body.
